Through this article, i am going to tell you how to stay away from depression. So, some days are just really depressing. You feel like you are not doing what you want to do. You know you want to, but somehow your mind and body just don’t cooperate. You sit around, waiting for something exciting to happen to take your mind off of everything. You start questioning why you are doing what you are doing. You think if it’s all worth it. You think if you’re making progress. You think if you are better today than what you used to be. The silence just gets deeper and you end up feeling that way for the rest of the day, or sometimes for longer.

If you know what I’m talking about, you also know that if you don’t do something about it, it just gets worse. And it’s harder if you live alone. But there is a way you can get out of it, and I’m going to let you in on that.All your thoughts are basically triggered by one negative thought or fear that you may have. One thought leads to another and you reach the very end where you don’t feel like doing anything. If you didn’t have that one thought, you wouldn’t think of all these other things that made you feel that way. Many a times, you get intimidated by someone close to you. You feel as though you aren’t good enough or you aren’t getting what you deserve. This may lead to several other arguments or misunderstandings that ultimately depress you. You also get frustrated if you are working on something and you really want it but you get stuck midway. You question yourself if you’ll ever get where you want to be. All these doubts and differences may last for a long enough time to make you uninterested in everything that you usually like doing.

How I deal with Depression ?

If I ever feel that way, the first thing I do is force myself to engage in an activity that I like, even though I don’t feel up for it. For me, that is working out. I just pack my bag and head to the gym with blasting music on my headphones. And after the workout, I never feel the same, it all goes away instantly. If there is an activity that you love, just do it. It is the best cure to get rid of any negativity. The other is food. It is known that good food elevates your mood no matter what. Treat yourself with your favorite food, and you’ll be much better. Just remember that you are unique. Never compare yourself with anyone, because you have something that no one else does. Respect yourself, love yourself for what you are, remind yourself of all the amazing things that you have achieved, be thankful for how far you have come and be thankful for everything that you have right now. There is a lot more to come and in time you will achieve all that you want to. Have faith and work hard.
